DescriptionCarved wooden spoon with stylized standing figure as handle. The sloping nose, angular eyes/eyebrows and placement of hands/ arms on slightly bent knees suggest it is ty the Luzon, but the ears round down instead of upward and there is an absence3 of the characteristic hat perhaps because it was intended for tourists. The figure's nipples point out. The bowl of the spoon's shape is indication of Chinese influence. It rounds out in the middle and then tapers to a point.On View
