DescriptionWooden spoon with carved figure handle. The figure's face slopes in from both sides and forms a pointed nose and chin. The ears are large and it has a sort of headdress on. Although the slightly crouched body is seminiscent of Luzon style, the head, face and headress are very different. The spoon bowl is wide and deep. It is more rounded at either end than other known examples form Luzon. The hat or headdress is flat and in profile, looks like two intersecting circles.
