DescriptionOpen-ended, u-shaped yoke is made from dark brown/green diorite. The yoke is flat on the bottom (5.5cm) with slightly rounded edges. The outer sides of the piece exhibit slightly convex curves- these curve inwards toward the top. The flat top is approximately 3cm wide near the open ends of the yoke. All but the inside surface is polished. This surface is rough to touch. The yoke is absent of any carving except for the beginnings of work on the outside surface on the end opposite to the open part of the u.On View
