DescriptionManchu Woman's semi-formal robe (Qifu) Dragon robe with 11 lung dragons, four mythical birds - pheonixes with peacock tails - and Taoist symbols for good luck and prosperity which are called "Eight Precious Things." Made of red-orange silk satin couched in gold wrapped thread. Sleeves are shaped in the Manchu "horseshoe" style but still wide. The hem is covered with li shui stripes and waves from which mountains rise. Side slits. Lined with light blue pongis. Side closure. Chinese characters written inside front closing.
