DescriptionTwo-piece ivory silk faille and satin wedding dress. The skirt has two rows of pleated faille above the hemline in front, and three in back, forming a slight train. The center front panel is of satin and drops from the waistline to just above the double row of pleats. It is caught in by ruching across it about halfway down its length. To either side of this are faille panels which end in ruched ruffles just above the pleats. There is an attached satin overskirt split at the center front and caught up at the side back. The center back is draped asymmetrically in both faille and satin. It is lined in a combination of glazed and unglazed tan cotton. The lower two rows of ruffles on the skirt have a stiffener, as does the whole lower section of the center back.
