DescriptionMiniature female in a position as if seated on a chair or a bench, or perhaps sleeping on her side. The sin. arm is raised with hand resting at her temple, the dex. arm is bent across the chest, touching the sin. elbow. Hands are incised to indicate fingers. A 3-lobed hairdo is also incised with vertical lines. Features are so stylistically typical of Chupicuaro; the buttocks are naturalistically-modelled, but the feet are vestigial. Traces of white paint on check elements. On View
