DescriptionStick of fairly dense wood. Carved head resembles dragon. Carved with curvilinear motifs. Raised nostrils and incised mouth. Designs appear to have been stained red and black on brown wood. Body behind head colored black. Trace of unfinished carving. Tail decorated with incised stripes running from center to bottom and also may have been colored alternately red and black. "Bottom" of object is flattened. It will lie upright.On View
