DescriptionSticks are carved and gilded with mother-of-pearl. The leaf is of paper with a border of wood cut architectural decoration in blue and gold. There are three medallions, the center being the largest. From left to right, Aurora and Day are represented in colored lithograph with some hand painting. the border decoration is on a separate paper placed over the medallion scenes. The back has a floral and scroll border of red, blue and gold. The two side medallions each depict two people apparently conversing. The central medallion shows two women and children sitting on a couch. Again the border paper is placed over the medallion.On View
