DescriptionMother-of-pearl are carved and pierced with floral design and birds. They are also gilded and silvered. The sticks have repousse gilt ornament, enamelled and set with a stone and mirror, on one stick, the stone is missing. The leaf is hand painted lithograph with block printed borders. The front scene, in a large central medallion, shows an idealized pastoral scene. There are two small medallions on each side with cupid figures. The back of the leaf shows another small pastoral scene. There are two small medallions on each side with cupid figures. The back of the leaf shows another pastoral scene. The one medallion on either side had cupid figures. The tassle and loop are studded with green stones. It is in a white silk covered cardboard box.On View
