DescriptionOne-piece day dress of brown cotton printed in a tiny flowing floral print in shades of blue and red. Fabric is probably English. The dress has falling front from waist. Waistline is high, slightly below bust, with low squared neckline, fitted by pulling in tapes set in castings at neck-edge and just below the bustline. Skirt is pleated to bodice in back, has casing and drawstring for gathering in front panel to fit. Sleeves are long and straight, and are pleated into armhole, There is a decorative pleat above the hemline. The bodice is lined in off-white cotton.
