DescriptionOne - piece wedding dress made of white silk with alternating moire and floral vertical stripes. Very full above - elbow length puffed sleeves, pleated into armhole and cuff. Cuff, armhole, shoulder seam, center back edge, and oval neckline are all outlined in one or two rows of one - sixteenth inch cording. The bodice has a raised waist. The back is French seamed. The front is decorated with flat pleated folds of the silk, which descend from the shoulder and neckline to the center front. These folds end at the bust level. The folds and front bodice pieces are cut in one piece on covered cord which has been stitched on in a zig - zag design to either side of the center front seam. The skirt is pleated in front and tightly cartridge pleated in back. The same lightweight stiffening has been used in the sleeves, top of skirt, and hem. The bodice is lined in white cotton and closed at the center back with hooks and eyes.On View
