DescriptionOne piece dress in black satin. The bodice has an oval neckline, which would have been trimmed with lace or worn with a chimisette. The bodice is decorated with flat pleated folds of the same fabric as the dress, which descend from the shoudler and neckline to the center front. The upper back side of the sleeve is pieced and the sleeves are pleated into the armhole. The neckline and waist are outlined in 1/16" cording. The skirt is full and when supported should take on a dome shaped silhouette. The bodice is lined in off-white cotton.On View
