DescriptionLarge blue and white ceramic plate, typical of the delftware style, which was prominent in the Netherlands in the 17th and early 18th century. The center is a scene of a gate with flowers and birds above it. The base is white and designs are blue. The edge is paneled an in each panel is an identical picture of 2 intertwining flowers. Bottom has 2 markings- "LE" and "II".
