DescriptionRough stone tenoned animal head, possibly a miniature hacha. The animal is not identifiable. It wears a crest along the midline of its head, has clearly modelled ears and circular eyes. The eye form relates to Cotzumalhuapa culture of coastal Guatemala c. 500-700.
