DescriptionA large, red, white, and green, silk ohdini (half-sari, or veil) tie-dyed in the bandahani technique with a pattern of floral bird, and geometric motifs. Kind of short for a full sari, but Gujerati women often wore the ohdini, blouse and ghagra (skirt) combination instead. Bandani ohdinis like this one very typical. Heavy silver brocaded stripes at one end. May be a full sari.On View
