DescriptionOrange and blue tapestry work. Orange background. Stripes and pattern in black, white, and blue. Diamond pattern in center, seemed lengthwise down center. Twisted fringe. The seape is constructed in two pieces abutted lengthwise and joined by hand without a slit. The pattern matches exactly across the join, perhaps an indication of the use of a painted board for a guide. Woven on a treadle loom, weft faced tapestry. On View
