DescriptionMochica vessel with a long, cylindrical neck on which a male head lies, whose hands, arms and garments are crudely painted on the vessel. The base seems unpainted, as does the face. There is a white band above the base and a red painted upper half which contains the sketching hands (which hold a cup). The face is of a man of prestige, with a large nose and ear ornaments, and gold elaborate headpiece. On View
