DescriptionA medium - sized printed cotton, chintz, prayer mat made of two layers of fabric hand - stitched together, with an applied border of blue cotton on the reverse side. Printed design on front of a large, pointed archway filled with small buti and floral motifs. Background color is off - white. Design typical of prayer rugs. Printed mats were a cheaper alternative for those believers who could not afford a pile rug on which to pray 5 times a day.On View
