DescriptionBall dress made of blue and white floral striped silk. The stripes are woven horizontally. They are used to edge the short sleeves, and also as an added band just below the neckline ending in a chevron formation at the center front. The upper edge of the band, the neckline, and the ends of the sleeves are all trimmed in "English Lace" or "baby" lace. There is also a blue silk braid trim just above the band on the sleeve edges. The bodice is first hooked up the back, then laced. Both bodice and skirt are lined in glazed cotton. On View
